Pricing & Payments
The customer agrees to pay the base rate for the dumpster rental plus $25 per day if the customer keeps the bin longer than 5 days.
The customer also agrees to pay $149 per tonne for any weight charges.
You will be charged to your credit card for the cost of the dumpster bin rental at the time of booking. Once we pick up the bin and it is weighed, we will charge your card on file for the weight and any additional days over the five included days (if any).
If your credit card that you have provided is declined, an NSF fee of $20.00 will be added.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your driveway is clear and ready for the bin to be placed there in advance of the driver arriving with your bin.
Cancellation Policy/Fee
To cancel or reschedule your order, we require at least 24 hours notice prior to your delivery date. If a bin is canceled or rescheduled with less then 24 hours notice, a fee of $75.00 will apply. If a bin is canceled or rescheduled when the bin is already on-route or on-site, a service fee of 50% of the total rental price will be applied.
If your bin is cancelled prior to the 24 hour window, you will be charged an administration fee of 4% of your total order as Big mini Bins incurs processing fees for cancelations.
If your bin is rescheduled to a different day prior to the 24 hour window, no fees will apply as long as the bin size and days rented for also does not change, and is subject to availability.
If the bin needs to be cancelled because the customer provided inaccurate delivery information and is not actually located within our serviceable area, the customer will be charged 4% of the total order as Big mini Bins incurs processing fees to reverse and refund your order. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the address and contact information provided is accurate.
Seasonal
In the winter, please ensure that your driveway is cleared of snow before we deliver your bin. If we arrive on site and cannot place the bin in your driveway due to snow accumulation, you will be charged a fee of $75.00 plus any processing fees.
Please also be aware that our trucks cannot travel on roads that are not accessible or maintained. If our driver finds that the roadway to your property is not accessible we will have no option but to cancel your order and you will be responsible for the cancellation fee of $100.00 plus any processing fees.
Dumpster Use
While Dumpster bins are in your possession, you will NOT place or allow them to be placed into the bin:
Substances hazardous to health such as toxic or corrosive materials or liquids.
Liquids of any kind whether contained or not
Medical waste or animal carcasses of any kind
Any toxic or flammable material such as but not limited to, paint, gas, oils, and spray cans of any sort.
NO asbestos materials.
NO burning in or near the dumpster.
If hazardous waste is inside the bin and visible to the driver, the bin will not be picked up and additional fees will apply. If it is not visible upon pick-up, but revealed at the transfer station, additional fees will apply depending on the material and the amount found within the bin.
The customer shall be liable for any loss or damage to rented equipment more than reasonable wear and tear.
You cannot move the dumpster without authorization from Big mini Bins.
Overweight and Illegals Loads:
Dirt, asphalt or concrete cannot be disposed of in our Mixed Garbage Bins. If on pick up, the driver discovers dirt, asphalt or concrete inside the bin and is unable to successfully pick it up, fees will apply such as the need for an additional bin. The maximum weight of the bin cannot exceed 5 tons.
All waste shall remain within the confines of the dumpster and shall not exceed the top or sides. If the dumpster bin is overloaded a fee of $75.00 dollars will be applied to your bill. In addition to the $75.00 fee, if we need to bring a second bin to remove items and transport them into another bin, you will be charged a new dumpster bin rental charge PLUS weight charges.
Bin Relocation:
If you require the bin location to be moved, $50.00-$100.00 fee will be applied (fee depends on address of bin delivery) for on-site relocations for the same delivery address. On booking, both online and over the phone, we inquire about where you want the bin to be placed. If the incorrect instructions are provided and you would like the driver to return to reposition the bin, this fee will apply.
If instructions for bin placement are not provided, the driver will ensure that the bin is placed in a safe and convenient place for the customer.
If the driver has concerns about the safety of where you stated the bin is to be placed, or it is not logistically possible to place the bin where you requested, you will be contacted by phone to inquire as to where else the bin could be placed. If we cannot reach you, the driver will choose a location that is safe and as close to the area you requested as possible.
Property Liability:
Driveway protection is included in all rentals. Big mini Bins is not liable for any potential damages that may occur to your property during your rental as we take every precaution possible. Our driveway protection prevents scratches but cannot prevent sinking due to the weight of the bin and external factors outside of our control that are non-preventable, such as weather conditions. In addition, Big mini Bins is not responsible for any materials or substances customers place in the bin that might leak out and stain/cause damage to customer’s driveway or property.
Damage Waiver:
Drivers will try their very best to accommodate any customer requests for bin placement. The driver dropping off the bin might foresee the potential for property damages by carrying out the customer’s request. If the customer still wishes to proceed, the driver will have the customer sign a damage waiver.
Contractor/Client Conflict:
Confidentiality must remain between Big mini Bins and our customers at all times. At no point will Big mini Bins get involved with contractor and client conflict. If you are ordering a bin to a location that you do not have ownership to, please ensure that appropriate permission has been granted before the bin has been delivered.
Marketing:
Client agrees to allow us to utilize any photos, descriptions, reviews, quotes, texts or videos of the property for marketing purposes. By inquiring about our services or doing business with us, you are giving your consent to receive notifications and messages (e-mail or text) regarding our promotions or services.
Garbage Compression:
At no time are customers allowed to utilize a third-party garbage compression/cruncher inside our disposal bins. This service will cause damage to the bin and the customer will be held liable.
Customer Information:
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide their accurate information, from contact information to delivery address. If you incorrectly provide information on booking which affects the success of your bin delivery, a fee of $50.00 – $100.00 (fee depends on the address of the bin delivery) will apply to correct this error. If the error cannot be fixed, such as the delivery address being outside of our service area, a cancellation fee may apply. Please see the above cancellation fee for more information.
